If you’d like to join the 51st Virtual Fighter Wing please ensure that you watch the recruitment video on the homepage, and that you meet the following requirements:

  • 18+
  • Fluent in English
  • Own at least one of the high-fidelity modules listed on the Home page
  • Own the Supercarrier (if you fly NAVY airframes)
  • Have some form of HOTAS
  • Have some form of head tracking
  • Have the latest version of DCS Open Beta
  • Have Simple Radio / SRS
  • We use a lot of maps, too. The ones we use the most are Syria, Persian Gulf, and NTTR. You aren’t required to have them all, but you will be depriving yourself of opportunities to fly with us if you don’t have most of them.

Applicants are expected to be able to:

  • Cold start their primary airframe
  • Takeoff and land
  • Demonstrate basic operational knowledge of their sensor and weapons systems
  • Fly at least once per month during the times listed on the Home page
